Portlaoise Library’s Literature at Eleven event returns on Thursday 28th September at 11:00 am. Our first meeting will take the form of a Poetry Circle, with poetry readings by staff members, conversation, tea and coffee. If you would like to bring along a poem and have it read by a staff member, or even if you would like to read it yourself, please feel free.
Also, if you love the social aspect of book clubs, but don’t want to commit to reading a whole book, our regular Literature at Eleven events could be just the thing for you! This welcoming and informal group event features poetry and short story readings by staff members, with tea, coffee and biscuits, plus chats about literature, life and lots more. All welcome at this FREE event!!
