We are planning an event for our members whose ages range from 50’s – 85 on a social gathering basis titled “Christmas Past” the older ladies of our group will reminisce on their childhood Christmas. We have arranged for musicians from St Columb’s Cathedral School of Music to provide songs and carols from Christmas’s past. We will also have a story teller there but the main theme of the evening will be individual accounts of Christmas. Younger members of our Sunday School will hear the stories and learn the games from our older members.
We will also have a games table for the old type games that are no longer played. We will have a menu featuring Olde Christmas items and jellied sweets for the ladies as a gift.
